The summer warmth is fading and the eerie winter chill is on the horizon,

The world around me has turned pale and the air slowly stings my skin.

My own harsh and cold hearted displays have left me numb and frozen,

And now all that my frigid heart can do is get acclimatised to the fall.

Staring too long at statues and lifeless figures,

My own heart has petrified into rock and stone.

And now having no meaning, purpose or intent,

My heart wanders, waiting to come to life again.

- Sir Adam Atriy, Myriad Tiaras Vol. 2

The lights were fading, And the shadows vanishing, The windows were pale and gloomy, And there was a stillness in the air. When darkness descended And at the ascend of obscurity. While the world was numb, And even the night sound asleep. At a time when God had departed, And before The Prophet arrived. Just after we were still us. Just before we weren't we. A child was born The Chosen One, He was “I”… The Prodigal Son. And I is not me It is “I” as in “We”. And this is the tale Of every female and male. The lights have faded, And the shadows vanished. The windows are still pale, And in the air is a chill.
