Shakespeare noted in his elaborate prose

“Cowards die a thousand times before their deaths

The Valiant never taste of death but once”

From my own perspective, I infer that

I will return to live a thousand more lives

While the more valiant of people stay dead

Having grown too fond of grief and sorrow,

I moved from my own to the ones of others'.

Listening to their woes, my heart broke...

For if theirs are miseries, what are mine?

- Sir Adam Atriy, Myriad Tiaras Vol. 1

The tighter one clings to ephemeral treasures,

The longer it will take for the heart to mend.

Yet the peals of laughter I've earned today...

Make me forget the wails of their loss tomorrow.

- Sir Adam Atriy, Myriad Tiaras Vol. I
